We grew up watching the skies full of liveries.

We are aviation people at heart. We remember the amenities, the unusual routes, how different every airline was. More local service, more hometown pride. Consolidation took most of it away. So we are going to buy an airline and rebuild what the mergers killed.

A dozen carriers became four, and the magic went with them.

Midwest Express, Silver and the niche carriers each deserve an autopsy. We did one for every small airline we could find, and built the plan around not repeating what ended them.

12 down to 4

U.S. airlines from 2000 to today. Most of the rest were bought up or shut down.

91 city pairs

Routes that had a real nonstop and lost it. Those trips now connect the wrong way, or become a drive.

The car won

People drive two to five hours because no flight exists. That is the competitor we plan to beat.

Small carriers are failing. Their certificates are the scarce asset.

Midwest Express already went, and Silver went after it. The small-carrier world is dozens of operators, most one bad year from the same list. Certificates, crews and operating history cannot be made from scratch. Airplanes can.

Buy one: flying on day one

Certificate in hand. Crews and operating history come with it. The airline never stops flying.

Build one: 18 to 24 months

A new certificate takes up to two years, carries approval risk, and starts cold with no customers.

135 seeds it. 380 scales it. 121 in about three years.

These are the federal rule books an airline flies under. We start where small operators already live, grow the way Contour proved works, and build the Part 121 team in parallel from month 6.

Part 135: buy the operation

A small carrier already flying, with its certificate, crews and customers.

Part 380: scale with public charter

Scheduled public charter on the same operation. Sold like an airline ticket, run on our systems.

Part 121: built in parallel

The full airline certificate. We build the team from month 6; ready in about three years.

We install the brain. The airline keeps flying.

Software as an airline. Atlas replaces 25 to 30 disconnected tools with one operating system for scheduling, pricing, crew and maintenance. No pause in the operation. How the platform works.

1. Buy

An operating carrier with its certificate and crews.

2. Install

Atlas runs the airline from the first day.

3. Grow

More aircraft on the certificate, more routes from its stations.

4. Charter

Public charter routes sold like an airline ticket.
